Job Description

  • Responsible for the clinical governance of MSB obstetric facilities, supporting Clinic Operations team and Project lead with appropriate quality assurance, accountabilities and governance tools functioning at all levels of the organisation.
  • Supports the delivery of quality assurance systems, policies, procedures and activities across MSB's obstetric facilities and services fully compliant with MSB and Government of Bangladesh standards and guidelines.
  • Leads on initiatives that impact on quality or effectiveness of health care services provided to clients in obstetric facilities. Implements new protocols are required.
  • Establish, implement and regularly monitor systems of internal clinical audit across all obstetric facilities with mechanisms to identify and remedy areas of concern and escalation to the Executive Team as necessary.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks and takes appropriate corrective measures in line with policy and procedure. Including regular analysis of incident management and client feedback.
  • Set measurable goals for the Quality Assurance Manager of Obstetrics for quality assessment and driving the resources to ensure the achievement of goals.
  • Oversees and supports incident management, investigation and reporting on all serious incidents as per MSB policy.
  • Support the development and maintenance of standard operational policies, procedures and processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality safe care to our clients which is consistent across the country.
  • Active member of the Medical Advisory Team (MAT). Ensures that any agreed actions during MAT meetings are implemented and follow up. Reports progress in subsequent meetings.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of best practices, national and international benchmarks and global MSI standards and explore modern improvements in technology and quality issues.

Job Requirements

    • 0 years of experience in the field of reproductive health/ Clinic/Hospital with 3 years of minimum experience in obstetric with Strong clinical technical skills and expertise - aware of GoB protocols.
    • Team player, excellent interpersonal & communication skill, self- organizing capacity. Open to ideas and contributions from others.
    • Ability to undertake training and capacity building

Required Qualification

  • MBBS with specialisation in Obstetrics (e.g. DGO/FCPS/MCPS/MS (Course Completed).

Experience

  • 10 Year to 15
